This needs to be the year in having all panels fully fitted alligned
and gaped with primer on. Headlight plugs finished and made.
March 30 1hr
Re-assessed upper window trim mold/plug. As it was kind of made blind,
meaning never checked on how thick the build up was while making the
plug. The front edge though its spot on on the corner, the very edge by
the glass is rather wavy. So figured rather then having it one ugly
thing its best to have it corrected and build up the plug before pulling
the part out of it. Unfortunately will have to build up considerable
amount on left inside and slightly remove some on the right which will
need to have some of the plug ground up and remade then have it skimmed
over on the inside in order to make it smooth
April 20 0.5hr
Sanded down on the body filler that was put on the upper windshield trim
and filled in with softer plaster as to make sanding easier
May 5 0.5hr
had the upper windshield trim plug filling sanded down and primed. Will
need bit some more work before its ready for making part.
May 20 3hr
filled in and build up upper windshield form for making part. Started
enlarging holes and preparing bolts for sill panel trim. Bolts will need
to be shortened for clearance purposes before they are bonded in
May 31 1hr
sanded down windshield upper trim and primed
Jun 1
filled in valleys in windshield trim
Jun 16 3hr
Trimmed bolts on the sill panel's trims and bonded in. Sanded in
windshield and primed
Jun 29 0.5hr
Accidentally bumped the windshield mold and cracked of part of the
filling. Easy fix and as it still needs to have bolt recesses added in
so no wasted time really other then some time. With previously premade
flat plate, small pieces where cut and bonded in.
July 3 0.5hr
Sanded down all the fillers and bonding that was squished out. Lightly
primed bare areas.
July 5
light skimmed over some areas to cover up some valleys
July 7 2hr
sanded down and primed windshield trim.
ground down bolds on sill trim. Couple bolts got to worm or just did not
bond properly as they are loose. Will have to either rebond them or glue
them in so that they will not spin once apholstery is applied
Aug 1 0.5hr
Waxed and PVA windshield mold
Aug 20 0.5hr
found some old gel coat. had the top windshield trim coated so it will
be like rest of the panels and be easier to sand if needed to give
better finish
Aug 24 1.5hr
laid up fiber glass on windshield upper trim. will see how it will come
out in next day or 2
Aug 25
pulled the windshield part from mold and came out very nice. Will just
have to trim all the hanging sharp edges, wash it and sand it and trim
it to final shape.
Will have to make mold for headlight/lights/etc module and figure out
how to make the surface that shows
Sep 1 2.5hr
trimmed windshield upper part. Will need to do some adjustments as it is
tight fitting A pillars trim in.
trimmd lower windshield defrost filler, however most likely will have to
rework it and re do it

Mission headlights. The pain for last few years. Not exactly what the
original plan was for them as far as mounts and location never the less
its 99% of where they are going to be located. Had LED light buckers
trimmed from last filling and made some further cutting on the bumper to
sink them and making lenses flat with bumper and fenders. Not sure if
there will be much of adjustment to the buckets to change angle of the
light beams. mosty likely that will be done individually by projector.
Also cut off small corners on fenders and build up corners on fenders
making a smooth cut line for headlights, fenders and bumber.
On next will be final finish of bumper to be remolded and finish of the
HID and LED buckets both for molds and part making
Sep 7 3.5hr
Mission headlights II. Some more tedious headlight adjustment but
got the headlights both HID and LED adjusted to a point that can now
finish bumper and remake the corners and finally finish the buckets for
mounting projectors and making molds.
Had to also fix one of the tail lights to make up LED PCB template and
bond both halves together
Sep 13 3hr
Stared working on HVAC controller. Got the basic LCD display running
though layout will need to be redesigned depending on the available
space in dash and display size in general. Have all the logic
buttons and indicators logic running. Need to add Mode.mixer motor
control logic and blower speed added into the code.
Sep 15 1.5hr
back at headlight. Sanded down bumper and build up low spots. Sand down
tail light and primed
Sep 16 2hr
Back at the lights again. Got the bumper to a point where it just needs
clearance for light mounting locations and bolt dimples for fastening
fenders to it and she will be ready to have corners redone.
Will need to get some fresh resin for the molds
Also not realizing but had printout of right rear LED PCB outline so it
was waste of time fixing the clay plug and trying to make template for
fixing the inside bucket. One thing that needs to be verified and should
be mirror image to the left side
Sep 20 3hr
Working on HVAC LCD menu and temp sensors algorigthm. Sun Level sensor
for some reason is not working as expected. Need to work on biasing
resistors which is most likely the cause of it.
Worked on some of the button logic as well switching system on/off and
resuming to last settings.
Lastly ordered different larger LCD panel so maybe should not too much
effor in UI layout. Ordered different LCD screen with larger aspect
ratio in hopes for better layout. Meanwhile will continue working on
temperature control subroutines.

Yes more head light work or more like bumper work. Now need to focus on
headlight bucket, figure out mount points and any other clearances.
As change but still in same area moved onto tail light. It seems that
when making inner buckets made the left one 1/8" smaller in couple spots
and did not go as wide and missing 1/4" in length. Not major issue but
thinking of fixing it while everything is all bonded together. Had to
clearance couple small spots.
Major step was drilling holes for bolts, making up metal plates, tapping
it and bonding them in. Will have M6 studs screw into the holes and
metal plates with help of thread lock which will act as fastening
mechanism for the lights. Figured that will be best way of mounting .
Sep 29 2hr
More headlight work. Sanded down last skim of the bumber. Will have to
prime it and leave it till headlight buckets are ready to see if there
are any changes that need to be made.
Carved out inner parts of the LED headlight buckets to make it conical
as it would not be possible to pull the projectors from molds. Most
likely there will need to be metal bracket to hold the projectors to the
buckets.
