The car was designed to have a removable roof panel turining it into targa when
the roof panel was removed. One whishing it to have a solidly mounted roof it is
possible to bond or mount the panel solidly onto the chassis however that would
produce difficulty when needing to have the quarter panels removed for any type
of service or repair or the windshield frame substructure for same or other
reason. With the roof down one problem is where to stow it. Its Not a problem when you leave the panel in garage before you leave. It does become a problem when you like to have the roof removed while driving. For that reason a cloth roof is an option as it can be assembled or dismantled while parked and it will be possible to do it in less than 10 minutes.
